Our company, Comontheweb, owns the Cominthesky brand (specializing in drone design, manufacturing, and operations). Comontheweb is a Qualiopi-certified training organization, meaning your training may be eligible for funding through your OPCO. Our training organization offers 5 to 10-day drone pilot courses based on your experience and needs. Typically, we bundle the sale of a drone system with a shorter, specialized training program focused on the specific flight and payload requirements of that drone. The total training duration includes the time needed to master both the regulatory framework and the technical aspects of the drone and ground station.

Drone pilot training details

Our drone pilot training center offers a comprehensive 5 to 10-day program, tailored to your skill level and requirements, consisting of two parts:

The theoretical component covers the legislative environment for drones and aircraft. We teach you the procedures for obtaining the necessary authorizations for your missions. This theoretical section spans three days.
The practical component is an opportunity to master the fundamentals of drone operation, including the ground station and HMI software. Over two days, our team of experienced professionals will guide you through flight training and an in-depth look at the software interface. This 5-day course is designed for amateur drone pilots who have some flight experience and are looking to transition into a professional career.

We also offer a 10-day drone pilot training course. This includes the same curriculum as our 5-day course, with additional modules for beginners covering more advanced flight operations, as well as technical maintenance and upkeep of the drone.

‍Other technical drone training

Our proprietary drone systems require training in flight operations, payload usage, maintenance, and data processing. For a professional drone pilot, this training typically takes two days. Cominthesky provides drone pilot training sessions for all skill levels.

Drone pilot training rates

Drone pilot training rates depend on your needs and your skill level. Specifically, the rates for FSS3 Flying Sensor training depend on the version and the many options offered. In this case, we consider that for a beginner, a 10-business-day training course is required, valued at €3,000 excluding tax; this budget can be financed by your OPCO if you have a CPF (Personal Training Account) or if your company has at least one employee with a "skills development" budget. Other training courses lasting between 2 and 10 days are priced according to their technical complexity and duration.
